Infinity is an exciting game that is brand new to Black Knight Games. Despite it being a new range here it is catching on like wildfire, with players really enjoying the quick gameplay, and realistic response options giving the game a very SWAT-team tactical feel. Add to that the fact that it is a small skirmish game, and there are many reasons why getting into Infinity is appealing. If you are interested in giving it a try your best bet is to jump in on the Call to Arms!
Entry Fee: $65.00
You Get: $75.00 towards miniatures for the contest (yes just for signing up you get a deal!)
Begins: Monday, January 16th,. Registration began on Monday, January 2nd 2012.

Victory Pool: In addition to the deal that you get right off the top, Black Knight Games will be putting $10.00 into a Victory Pool for each participant. Entry 1: Haqqislam army comin along, couple models to paint and some touching up all around. Basically stayed with colour scheme on the box, because they just looked so cool. Couldn't wait to get the models out and together. Couldn't decide on a base so planning to rebase them all in the future, they're just on basic bases now.
Cheers,
Chris Welsh
Entry 2: Finished. Tryed some experimenting with the hacker give him a bit of a tron look, seemed fitting, looks alright although wasn't quite what I envisioned. Long time since I last painted, good refresher. All in all think army looks ok. Looking forward to seeing the other armies and learning the game.
See ya tomorrow! |

Entry 1: Well of the 6 models for the call to arms, I have base colours and second layers done on 4 models. My prowler is the only model I have done and Im thinking of doing a green wash on all of my camo models to give it a tech-camo cloaking techology look, at least the idea sounds good to me. Basing to come soon.

Entry 1: So for the Call to Arms the force I have decided to go with is the Japanese Sectoral Army of Yu Jing. The main theme of the force will be hard hitting warriors based around close combat with maybe a ninja or 2 on the side. I'm still working out the points for what I want in the 200 point army so at the moment I will just be painting what I have that I think looks cool. This army will definitely be a challenge to paint for me due to how white the army is and my lack of ability to paint white so hopefully after this I will be a master at painting white or just painting in general. I hope everyone enjoys this Call to Arms as much as I am, good luck everyone.
Entry 2: So this is my final call to arms entry as I have finished painting my 200 point team for Infinity. There is't really much to say about it, four basic line troops, a heavy infantry unit and a ninja compromise the force. I haven't had much luck for most of the games I've played with this force but hopefully I can turn my game around and start earning a few victories for my team.

Entry 1: Since this is my first report on my progress for the Infinity Call to Arms, and for any Call to Arms event in general, this will probably be a little rough, so bear with me. Having purchased and ordered models beforehand in preparation, I had everything I needed to get started once the 16th rolled around. So far, I've been relatively efficient, having assembled all the miniatures for my entry, as well as having placed them on scenic bases that consist mostly of rocks, and Secret Weapon washes and pigments. Additionally, all of said miniatures have been basecoated, which means that all I have to do now is actually paint them.
A little more about my entry... I'm working on about ten Ariadna models, all of them Merovingians (Space French). Most of which consist of the fantastic new Loup-Garou box that was recently released. I haven't had the opportunity to test them out just yet, but I can't wait to get the chance to do so.
I will upload some pictures once I get some.
Entry 2: A decent amount of progress has been made, and at the progress I'm currently working at, I should be able to finish pretty close to the deadline. Hopefully, I'll be able to get more painting time in before that happens though.
With this entry, I've included a picture of several, but not all of the models I am painting. Four of the six shown are finished entirely, while two are about 75% done. The rest are still WIP.

Entry 1: My interest in Infinity has always been in the fluff. While many I've talked to are drawn to the tactics, and more still are sucked in by the beautiful sculpts, the storytelling of this science-fiction is what won me over and convinced me to participate.
To that end I will be painting four Myrmidons from team ALEPH including Achilles and his recently released cousin. Should be fun.
Entry 2: So... procrastination.
I feel a little bit like I'm in university again. Every day left before a deadline is another day to hang with friends or do anything-but-what-you-need-to-complete. Nevertheless, all nighters (and in this case all day too) and hard effort at the last possible moment win through.
I ended up choosing a fairly unforgiving colour scheme that I may never repeat. I also must have primed poorly, as I had issues with my paint sticking. It is worth noting that this is only my second CTA and that I've only been painting for five months. It shows.
However, (and this is a small "however") I am still proud of what was accomplished. I scratch build two Netrods out of bits and flying bases, which was fun. What worked well with my colours looks good, what doesn't is a lesson. CTA: Complete. |

Entry 1: For my Call to arms force I have decided to go with a close combat focused highlander army. Of the 8 models I plan to have in my army, 6 are assembled and primed. I'm not entirely sure how I'm going to paint them up yet, but I'm thinking either red/black or blue/yellow plaid for the kilts. I currently have Wallace, some Galweigans, and a little fire support. I will probably add Wolvers or S.A.S. to spice things up, but for now, its time to paint up some Scots. Good luck everyone. Evan M.
Entry 2: For my final Call to Arms entry I have now bumped the model count from 8 to 11 by adding another handful of Galwegians. Out of these 11 I have 7 models completely painted, and based, while the 4 others are primed and ready to be painted, well on their way to be finished by the deadline. Hope everyone had fun with the Call to Arms. Evan M. |

Yu-Jing |
COMPLETED! |
Entry 1: For force I chose to make a self sufficient Yu-Jing heavy infantry group to add onto my light infantry force.
The team is composed of three heavy infantry models: a Hac-Tao special ops trooper, a Daofei infiltration operative, and a crane rank imperial agent.
Here is the team assembled and primed, ready to start being painted.
Entry 2: My three heavy infantry additions to my Yu-Jing force are painted and based, signalling the completion of my call to arms.
The three models are all painted in different schemes. The Hac-Tao features a grey on grey urban camouflage, and my army's signature red face mask to tie him to the rest of my forces. The Daofei alternatively is green with a white face mask (I chose the white mask in favour of a red one to avoid the infiltration expert looking too festive. Lastly the Imperial Agent is painted in a darker grey then the Hac-Tao and over all uses darker earth tones to signify a darker, more sinister association, and does not have a brightly coloured face mask because he is not an official military officer, but rather a Judicial Enforcer; an Inquisitor if you will.
I based the three models very simply with some gravel painted in green tones. I was hoping it would look like an alien terrain but it looks more like the three soldiers are standing on cheep artificial grass, and I hope to redo it later on.
All in all I can't wait to use the force on Sunday and in the future augment my existing forces with these three specialists.
